four years/two years

four years ago i started dating my amazing husband. i still vividly remember him asking me to be his girlfriend and then promptly leaving to play video games with his friends…hahaha! anyways, jump forward 2 years, we were in Paris for our anniversary and he asked me to marry him. of course i said yes and the trip to Paris is one that we will always remember. we had both been before, me during my study abroad, and him on multiple occasions growing up, but this one i think will last in our memories a little longer 😉

we found a cute little hotel in the 3rd arrondissement and made a long weekend of it. whenever you’re in Paris, you’re in for a lot of walking, but it is beyond worth it. the architecture of the city itself is AMAZING! (i still remember arriving for the first time in 2008 and my jaw just dropping to the floor) anyways, we purchased daily tickets for the mĂ©tro and just went wherever we wanted. as we had both seen the majority of the major tourist locations, we just revisted La Tour Eiffel and Jardin des Tuileries. we also visited MusĂ©e Rodin, Ăźle saint louis, put a love lock on Pont de l’ArchevĂȘchĂ© (before they were all taken down), and attempted nĂŽtre dame, but we got there too late 🙁

i would gladly go back to Paris as often as possible, but the husband isn’t so fond of the people, he loves the city, but he suggests we visit new places before going back to the “old” ones again, which i have to agree, is a good plan. we will go back to Paris again in the future, but in the mean time, these pictures will have to suffice
