blue apron

a little over a month ago, i was introduced to the website “blue apron” and it has quickly become one of my go-to sites when we want a new recipe to try. since i moved to germany, the husband and i have really branched out in our cooking and our tastes (ok, mainly me because i am such a picky eater). but after a year and a half of rotating some of the same meals over and over, we started getting tired of what we were eating. yes, it is easy to look on cooking sites where people upload their own recipes, etc. but once i found this “blue apron” site, i knew i’d found gold!

it offers tons of recipes and gives you step by step instructions as well as images (which for the cooking-impared, like myself, truly comes in handy). even though some of the ingredients are hard to come by over here, we are good at improvising with what we can find (its helpful that the husband is such a good cook 😉 ). i’ve shared with some of my family the pictures of some of our dinners recently, and they seemed quite impressed…but now the cat is out of the bag!

some of our favorites include: Parmesan Chicken Caesar Salad, Thai Chicken Burgers and Roadside Noodles. i have also saved some new recipes from the past few weeks and can’t wait to try them out!
